The Book
Why Science and AI Prove You Are an Eternal Player, Not a Temporary Avatar.
The Story
I was trained to dismiss everything in it.
I spent years as a research scientist at Oxford, studying signalling in heart cells. My world was data, controls, and peer review. Souls and afterlives belonged to other people, kind people, perhaps, but not careful ones.
Then I started pulling on a thread in quantum physics. The thread did not stop at physics. It ran through cosmology, biology, the placebo effect, near-death experiences, and a hundred years of evidence most scientists have never read.
I know how this sounds. If I hadn't checked the data myself, I wouldn't believe it either. So I built the most unbiased test I could design, a blinded panel of frontier AI systems, calibrated like a lab instrument, and let it judge nine models of reality without me in the room.
The model that won says this: reality is a virtual reality occurring within consciousness. Your body is the Avatar. You are the Player, and the Player does not die.
What You Get
Every concept is translated into plain language, written so a smart 14-year-old could follow it, without dumbing down a single finding.
Like a detective story, the book walks you through the trial of nine models of reality, field by field, following the clues to why the winner wins, even on materialism's home turf.
Not abstract philosophy. What it means for your fear of death, your grief, your purpose, and your place in an AI-shaken world.
This is not a religious book. It is not a New Age book. It is an evidence book, written for the rational skeptic: someone who wants reasons before belief, too rigorous for blind faith and too honest to ignore the data.
You are not a biological accident. The book shows you the receipts.
Beyond the Book
The book tells the story in plain language. Beneath it sits a full, openly published study, and ahead of it, a practical tool, all built on one accurate map of reality.
The book rests on a complete, blinded, calibrated study: nine models of reality scored against forty fields of evidence by nine independent AI systems. Every model, every control, and all the input and output will be released openly, for anyone to replicate or to probe for flaws.
